Rescue and educator

I'm Katheryn, the founder of Petites Pattes Rescue! All my life I've loved animals. I've had rescue dogs growing up and then I discovered pocket pets. I became obsessed  with learning everything I could find about them. My parents eventually let me get two male gerbils! I kept doing research and found out that the care I was told was good enough, was very outdated and I needed to upgrade their care. It is incredibly hard to find proper care, information, and the right supplies for small companions these days. That is why I started this rescue. To give "throw away" pets a second chance and a loving home. 

Our mission is to help gerbils, mice, and hamsters who are in need a loving and safe temporary home whilst we take care of any veterinary needs and find them their forever home. We vet potential adoptees to make sure they are informed and want to give their new furry friend the best life possible! We care deeply about each and every small animal we take in and we want the best for your furry friends at home! This is why we offer endless amounts of resources and information on proper care and husbandry.
